Something a little different for tunes day, this time I will be sharing my top 5 favourite songs that I have found over the past couple of months.
So here we go, my top 5 (in no perticular order):
1. BØRNS - 10,000 Emerald Pools
I instantly fell in love with this song when I first heard it and I'm not going to lie, I did think it was a woman singing but I was wrong, it is a man with an amazing falsetto voice. I get major summer vibes from this song, imagine road trips and beach hangs with good friends. I will definitely have this on repeat to keep some warm thoughts when winter truly sets in.
2. Dorsal Fins - Heart On The Floor
This is another song I loved instantly. It gives off a very 80s vibe and has such a great groove. I always love a bit of funky bass and injects from horns. Totally think 80s roller skating rink with disco balls and a live band.

3. Jamie T - Zombie
Okay who doesn't love a good zombie film (or even a bad one really)? And what could go wrong with combining zombies and music, clearly nothing as proved by this song. I think it is good to have songs that have lyrics that are a little jokey but still sound quite serious, it's kind of like a reminder that music can be fun and different (not that it isn't, it's just seems like some songs lack a bit of creativity I guess.) I say yes to more fun songs about zombies!
Listen and watch here (but be warned, there is blood and loss of limbs)
4. Pix - A Way To Say Goodbye
This song is the ultimate dream pop song! You totally get Alice in a Wonderland vibes (the music video certainly emits this). If you like Grimes or FKA Twigs you will love this song, I am all for rad girls with rad style making rad music that is uniquely their own. I really hope she makes some more music soon as this is the only one so far.
5. Josef Salvat - Every Night
This song is just so so good. It is relaxed but still feels empowering and oh so beautiful. I am honestly lost for words with this song. Basically all you need to know is that he has an amazing voice and it is a great song, good vibes all round.
